What we do
We pick orders down to the individual unit — for example, single cylinders of roofing membrane adhesive pulled from bulk pallet storage — rather than forcing every order out in full pallet quantities. We also assemble multiple SKUs into ready-to-ship kits, so your customer receives exactly what they need in one package.
Picking and kitting run across the same inventory classes we store: paint and related materials, hazardous and non-regulated, in bags, pails, drums, supersacks, and totes.
How it works at Fulton
Orders arrive by email for real-time processing. Excalibur WMS from Camelot 3PL Software drives the pick: it holds item numbers, lot numbers, DOT descriptions, quantities, packing units, and racking locations, and generates the pick ticket the floor works from.
Every completed order produces a packing list and Bill of Lading out of the same system, alongside electronic inventory tracking and invoicing. You or your logistics partner choose the carrier on each load. Same-day shipping is available if the LTL carrier hasn't picked up yet; orders received after 10 AM carry an additional charge.
Inbound, we unload floor-loaded import containers by hand and restack the product onto pallets, which is often the first step before a program moves into unit-level picking.
